Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International (APCO) is a member driven association of communications professionals that provides leadership; influences public safety communications decisions of government and industry; promotes professional development; and, fosters the development and use of technology for the benefit of the public.
National Emergency Number Association As The Voice of 9-1-1T, NENA is on the forefront of all emergency communications issues. The association serves its members and the greater public safety community as the only professional organization solely focused on 9-1-1 policy, technology, operations, and education issues. With more than 7,000 members in 48 chapters across the United States and around the globe, NENA promotes the implementation and awareness of 9-1-1, as well as international three-digit emergency communications systems.

Kent County Emergency Communications
The Division of Emergency Communications, also known as Kent Center is the true first responder to all Fire/EMS emergencies throughout Kent County. Our mission is to act as a vital and critical link between our public safety agencies and the citizens they protect and serve. We strive to ensure the preservation of life and property by treating all who use our services with professionalism, courtesy and compassion and by relaying accurate information in a timely and efficient manner. Our Communications Center provides countywide 911 emergency call-taking, dispatching and centralized communications services to 18 volunteer fire departments and 13 EMS agencies.
Sussex County Emergency Operations Center
Rehoboth Beach 911 Center
The Rehoboth Beach 911 Center, operates 24 hours a day seven days a week and is responsible for answering all 911 and non-emergency calls for the City of Rehoboth Beach and surrounding area. 911Center personnel also provide dispatch services for the Rehoboth Beach Police Department, and dispatch Fire, and Emergency Medical Services for the entire Rehoboth Beach fire district. The residents and visitors to Rehoboth Beach are provided quick access to emergency services by a team of 9 full-time personnel.
City of Seaford Police and 911 Center
The Seaford Police Department has 27 full-time law enforcement officers who provide around-the-clock service to the people of this community. Each Seaford officer is a graduate of the Delaware State Police Training Academy. Seaford Police has several divisions within the Department to include Criminal Investigations, accident reconstruction, tactical team for all highrisk warrant service and a police motor unit.
